快速上手 Starling 多语言口语练习工具 · Quick start guide

1. 使用场景

  • 发音查询： 输入生词或短语，选择不同语言的语音快速听发音。
  • 准备演讲： 粘贴演讲稿，反复朗读练习语调和节奏，录音检查表达。
  • 练习口语： 跟读文章段落，对比自己录音与标准发音的差异。
  • 有声朗读： 为小孩子朗读故事、童话，或制作有声读物内容。
  • 语言学习： 听力训练，熟悉语速变化和不同口音。
  • 朗读训练： 练习诗歌、散文朗诵，提升语言表达能力。
  • 发音纠正： 针对难读词句反复练习，逐步改善发音准确性。

1. Usage Scenarios

  • Word pronunciation lookup: Type words or phrases to quickly hear pronunciation in different languages.
  • Foreign language speech prep: Paste your speech script, practice intonation and rhythm, record to check delivery.
  • Speaking practice: Shadow-read passages, compare your recordings with standard pronunciation.
  • Audio storytelling: Read stories and fairy tales aloud for children, or create audiobook content.
  • Language learning: Listening training with various speeds and accents.
  • Reading aloud training: Practice poetry and prose recitation to improve expression.
  • Pronunciation correction: Repeatedly practice difficult words and sentences to improve accuracy.

2. 快速开始

  1. 在主页面文本区域中 输入或粘贴 你要练习的句子 / 段落。
  2. 选择 全文模式 或 选中朗读模式。
  3. 在语音列表中挑选合适 Voice；必要时调整 语速 与 音调（若支持）。
  4. 点击“播放”开始朗读；可随时暂停 / 继续。
  5. 切换到录音区域：点击“开始录音”——练习——点击“停止”——再“回放”对比。
  6. 满意的话，使用“下载”保存音频（本地浏览器生成）。
提示：如果语音列表最初为空，等待 1~2 秒或再次点击下拉刷新；某些浏览器需要先与页面交互（点击或按键）。

2. Quick Start

  1. Type or paste sentences/paragraphs into the main text area.
  2. Select Full Text or Selection mode.
  3. Pick a voice; adjust rate and pitch if supported.
  4. Press Play to start speech; Pause / Resume anytime.
  5. Open recording panel: Start → Speak → Stop → Play back to compare.
  6. Use Download to save the locally generated audio file.
Tip: If the voice list is empty at first, wait 1–2 seconds or re-open the selector. Some browsers need a user gesture before populating voices.

3. Browser Compatibility

Each browser supports different languages and voice packages. Edge browser is recommended for the best voice experience.

Major Languages Supported by Edge:

  • Chinese: Simplified Chinese (Mainland), Traditional Chinese (Taiwan, Hong Kong)
  • English: US English, UK English, Australian English, Indian English, South African English, Canadian English and other accent variants
  • Japanese: Standard Japanese (Male/Female voices)

4. 朗读模式

全文模式： 按顺序朗读全部内容，适合连续听力/跟读。

选中模式： 只朗读你框选的那一段或句子，有利于精听与纠音。

切换模式不会丢失已输入文本。

4. Reading Modes

Full Text: Reads everything sequentially—good for long listening or shadowing.

Selection: Reads only the highlighted portion—ideal for focused practice.

Switching modes doesn’t clear your text.

5. 录音与回放

  • 使用浏览器 MediaRecorder API，本地处理。
  • “开始录音”后系统可能弹出麦克风权限请求。
  • 录完后点击“回放”对比你的发音与系统朗读。
  • “下载”会生成一个可保存的音频文件（通常为 webm/opus）。

5. Recording & Playback

  • Runs locally via the MediaRecorder API.
  • Grant microphone permission when prompted.
  • Use Play Back to compare your pronunciation with TTS output.
  • Download generates a local audio file (often webm/opus).

6. 高亮与定位

朗读时当前句子会高亮；切换到选中模式后可手动拖选一段进行针对性练习。

若高亮卡住，可点击“停止/重置”按钮，再次播放。

6. Highlight & Position

The active sentence is highlighted while speaking. In Selection mode you can drag to highlight a specific portion.

If highlighting freezes, press Stop/Reset and start again.

7. 常见问题排查

  • 没有声音： 检查系统音量；Safari 需先交互；某些语音不支持当前语言。
  • 语音列表为空： 等待加载或重新打开页面；尝试切换浏览器。
  • 录音按钮灰色： 确认浏览器支持 MediaRecorder；检查麦克风权限。
  • 下载文件无法播放： 尝试用 Chrome / VLC 打开；或转换为 mp3。

7. Troubleshooting

  • No sound: Check system volume; Safari may need an interaction; some voices lack that language.
  • Empty voice list: Wait or reload; try another browser.
  • Record button disabled: Ensure MediaRecorder is supported and mic permission granted.
  • Downloaded file won’t play: Open in Chrome / VLC or convert to mp3.
