1. 简介

Starling 是一个纯前端运行的免费多语言朗读与录音练习工具。我们力图最少化个人数据处理，不要求注册，不建立用户数据库。页面上的语音合成与录音处理尽可能在本地浏览器完成。

本工具展示的广告由 Google AdSense 提供（可能包含第三方投放合作伙伴）。面向欧盟/英国/瑞士的用户，我们将依据相关法规（GDPR / ePrivacy 等）要求显示同意管理界面。

1. Introduction

Starling is a front-end only, free multilingual reading & speaking practice tool. We aim to minimize personal data processing. No account creation, no user database. Speech synthesis and recording run locally in your browser whenever possible.

Ads are served via Google AdSense (and its certified partners). For users in the EEA/UK/Switzerland we will display a consent interface compliant with GDPR / ePrivacy requirements.

2. 我们不收集的内容

  • 不建立账号、用户名或密码
  • 不持久存储你输入的文本（保留在浏览器内存）
  • 不将你的录音文件上传到服务器（除非你自行分享）
  • 不进行服务器端的个性化画像

2. What We Do NOT Collect

  • No accounts, usernames, or passwords
  • No persistent storage of text you type (stays in memory)
  • No upload of your recordings (unless you manually share them)
  • No server-side behavioral profiling

3. 语音与录音处理

语音合成使用浏览器内置 SpeechSynthesis API。录音通过 MediaRecorder API 获取；生成的音频 Blob 仅在本地内存中，用户可手动下载。我们不将录音发送至远程服务器。

3. Speech & Recording

Speech synthesis relies on the browser SpeechSynthesis API. Recordings are captured with MediaRecorder and kept only in memory; you may download them manually. We do not transmit recordings to a backend.

4. Cookies 与本地存储

本工具本身尽量不写入非必要 Cookie。可能使用 localStorage 存放：语言偏好、语音选择、同意（consent）状态。Google AdSense 及其合作方可能设置 Cookie 以进行广告投放、频次控制、测量等（取决于你的同意）。

The app itself minimizes non-essential cookies. We may store language preference, voice selection, and consent state in localStorage. Google AdSense (and partners) may set cookies for ad delivery, frequency capping, and measurement, depending on your consent choices.

5. 广告与个性化

在获得必要同意前，广告可能以非个性化形式展示。若你授予个性化广告或广告存储同意，我们的页面将允许 AdSense 使用相关信号进行更具相关性的展示。

Before consent (where required), ads may be non-personalized. If you grant consent for personalized ads or ad storage, AdSense may use signals to deliver more relevant advertising.
